Dale Edwards, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at his residence. The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 411 John Rich Road in Bainbridge, GA. The family will hold a private memorial service. West St., Bainbridge, GA. 39819 Mr. Edwards was born May 12, 1929 in Whittier, CA, the son of Frank "Blackie" Edwards and Susan Beam Edwards. He was a mechanic, served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Woodman of the World. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Edwards and his second wife, Jean Nichols Edwards. Survivors include his son, Morris Nichols and his wife Jennifer of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Tawan Barber and her husband Joe of Bainbridge, GA and Claudia Martin of Cairo, GA; three grandchildren, Logan Morris Nichols, Christine Cassesse, and Clark Bogdan; and five great-grandchildren.
