Isaac Ethridge

Mr. Isaac Wayne Ethridge, age 68, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, at his home in southern Decatur County, Georgia. Graveside services will be held for Mr. Ethridge at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 5, 2016, at Sylvania Cemetery. The Rev. Berry Cottle will be officiating. The family will receive friends at their home, 186 Mcleroy Road, on Sunday, December 4. Isaac Wayne Ethridge was born September 9, 1948 in Marianna, Florida to Isaac Alonzo Ethridge and Mary Magdalene Shurm Ethridge. He married the love of his life, Debora Denise Graves. They have been together 45 wonderful years. At age 16, he went to work at Bradley's IGA. He retired from there in 2011, after 47 years. Wayne liked to hunt and enjoyed working outside in their yard; but he loved to fish. Wayne Ethridge will be missed greatly by his many family and friends. Mr. Ethridge is survived by his wife, Debora Denise Ethridge of Bainbridge; his daughter, Geraldine Numbers and husband, Donald of Dickson, Tennessee; brothers and sisters, Laverne Ethridge of Chattahoochee, Donald Ethridge of Delwood, Florida, Reggie Ethridge of Bristol, Florida, Randy Ethridge of Madison, Florida, Maribel Dean of Chattahoochee, Doris Parker of Sycamore, Florida, Linda Wynn of Madison, and Maudel Thomas of Thomasville, Georgia; his granddaughters (his angels), Kaitlynn Numbers and Danielle Numbers; and many, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wayne's honor to Gentiva Hospice, 432 East Shotwell Street, Bainbridge, Georgia 39819.
