Mr. Jesse Kenneth Cloud, 71, of the Recovery Community near Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Sylvania United Methodist Church with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery Thomas Ezell, Rocky Ezell, Dewayne Barrineau, Vance Smith, Dale Mitchell, and Charles Palmer serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Cloud was born November 8, 1936 in Decatur County, GA to the now late Roddie Lee Cloud and Viola Smith Cloud. At age 10 months, his mother passed away and he was raised by his grandmother, and his aunt and uncle, Berry and Jimmie Myrl Smith, and their children, Jesse and Emma Jean. He graduated from Chattahoochee (FL) High School in 1956 and was a retired sheet metal worker. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his brother, Angelo Cloud and wife Betty of Cottonwood, AL; two sisters, Myram Gause and husband Earl of Tallahassee, FL, and Mildred Ezell and husband Avin of Thomasville, GA; his childhood family, Berry and Jimmie Myrl Smith and Emma Jean Johnson, all of Bainbridge, GA; and his girlfriend, Shelby Harrison of Whigham, GA.
