Ray Widner, 48, of Brinson, GA, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Ray was born October 4, 1959 in Bainbridge, GA, and was raised by his grandparents, Gary and Idell Thompson. He graduated from Bainbridge High School, Class of 1977. Ray was employed with Pic N Save, in Albany, GA and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael DeWayne Weaver. Survivors include his wife, Betty Widner of Brinson, GA; two daughters, Joni Lynett Widner of Tallahassee, FL and Jessica Rae Widner of Tallahassee, FL; and his mother, Mary Eloise Thompson Weaver of Bainbridge, GA.
