Jack A. Knight age 61, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11:00 at First Baptist Church of Lake Placid, FL with Rev. Brett Morey officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Placid. Mr. Knight was born on January 29, 1949 in Bainbridge, GA to C.H. and Margaret (Smith) Knight. He was a faithful attendee and member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid. He was a Cattle Broker in the cattle industry for over 40 years, and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a resident of Lake Placid since coming from Bainbridge, GA in 1977. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maria Knight of Lake Placid, FL; his mother, Margaret Griffin of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Steven Alan Knight and his wife Suzanne of Orlando, FL; his daughters, Jackie Knight Austin and her husband Bill of Sebring, FL, and Kristin Knight of Lake Placid, FL; his brother, Pete Knight of Havana, FL; and his grandchildren, Megan Knight, Jayda Knight Austin and Parker Hicks.
