Jack Turner

Jack Turner, 57, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Davidson officiating, and will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Turner was born November 25, 1957 in Panama City, FL, the son of Talmadge Hall Turner and Mary Reeves Turner. He was a plant superintendent for Southeastern Minerals and attended Connection Church. Mr. Turner was an avid cook and loved to fish. Survivors include his wife, Janice Hodges Turner of Donalsonville, GA; his sons, Stacey Hodges and his wife, Julie, of Lakeland, GA and Tracey Hodges and his wife, Jennifer, of Donalsonville, GA; his siblings, Talmadge Turner, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Donalsonville, GA, Kenny Turner of Donalsonville, GA, Travis Turner and his wife, Vicki, of Brunswick, GA and Tamara Roberts and her husband, Brian, of Richmond Hill, GA; his grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Brayden, Nicholas, Dylan, Jordan, Abby and Jessica. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Wheatley and Debra Nelson.
