Jack H. Vickers was born December 19, 1965, in Panama City, Florida to Milford (Red) Vickers and Earline Schaney Vickers. He grew up in Panama City, attending Rutherford High School. He was the youngest of 8 and enjoyed being spoiled by his loving sisters. Jack loved helping his friends. He had a knack for helping them find the best deals. He was a very smart, interesting man. Jack worked for Coleman World Group for 32 years until his retirement in 2018. While working for them, he was the chosen driver to haul the equipment for the University of Alabama football team, which he did for many years. Everyone that knew him knew that he was a diehard fan and was on the sidelines with the staff at every game. He loved showing off the “Bama” truck and his championship rings. Jack was married to his best friend and love of his life, Gwendolyn Gilbourn Vickers. They enjoyed going camping and being in the beauty of nature. Most importantly, he was a man of faith and integrity, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and the best husband, brother, and friend that anyone could ask for and will be missed by many. Roll Tide!!
