Jackie Dean, 75, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, FL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Tom McEachern, Jim Higgins, Alan Peirce, Ryan Higgins, Ben Peirce, Michael Dean, and Brian Dean serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Dean was born May 25, 1938 in Camilla, GA, the daughter of Thomas Benjamin Whitley and Ella Mae Singleton Whitley. She was a member of Delwood Baptist Church and a retired real estate appraiser. Survivors include her son, Tom Dean , of Newnan, GA; his children, Michael Dean and Brian Dean; her daughters, Debbie Dean McEachern and her husband, Tom, of Macon, GA; their child, Whitley McEachern; Kelly Dean Higgins of Bainbridge, GA; and her children, Ryan Higgins and Lena Higgins; and Becky Dean Peirce and her husband, Alan, of Tallahassee, FL; their children, Ben Peirce and Sarah Peirce. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewayne Dean; and her sister, Waldene Prince.
