Jacky Lee Jackson was born March 3, 1941 in Climax, GA, the son of Samuel and Ardyce Mueller Jackson. He was a graduate of Climax High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jacky retired from BASF as a department supervisor. He married Sharon Hawkins in 2002 and together they enjoyed all life had to offer. Jacky was a member of Attapulgus Baptist Church. Wound tighter than a tick, Jacky did not believe in idleness. He had an extraordinary work ethic and tried to help others develop the same. Jacky never met a stranger and never minded saying, "Well, let me ask you a question." He was a loyal friend, champion for his family, and mentor to many. His not-so-easy advice was always given in love and with the offer of his help to make things happen. He loved any activities involving the grandchildren from ballgames to theater performances. He enjoyed reading and Mexico Beach, but not more than a "deal" especially at a yard sale. Jacky believed every word of the Bible and prayed daily for his children and grandchildren to know Jesus. He leaves a legacy of love for those that meant the most to him. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sharon H. Jackson; his children, Thomas Wade Jackson of Sycamore, FL; Christy & Brad Ward of Bainbridge, GA, Matt & Lauren Musgrove of Thomasville, GA, and Dana & Mickey Martin also of Bainbridge, GA; his sisters, Beth Rish and Alice Crews of Albany, GA; and his grandchildren, Ty, Gracen, Mason, Hayden, Melody, Gracie, and Maddox Kate. In addition to his parents, Jacky was preceded in death by his brother, John Wade Jackson.
