James Adams, 59, of Americus, GA, formerly of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. No services are planned. James was born August 8, 1951 in Ocilla, GA, the son of D. J. Adams and Finea "Granny" Roberson Adams Simpson. Survivors include his brothers, Jerry Adams of Davisboro, GA, Robert Hancock of Bainbridge, GA and Ronnie Adams of Cross City, FL; his sisters, Mary Alice Smith of Cairo, GA, and Betty Edmonson of Americus, GA; his stepbrothers, Charles Stone of Ocala, FL and Ray Stone of Okeechobee, FL; his stepsister, Brenda Anderson of Ocala, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
