Mr. James Ray Banks, age 63, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, in Donalsonville, Georgia. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

James Ray Banks was born June 27, 1962, in Plant City, Florida, to Roy Banks and Ruby Barfield Banks. James loved the outdoors. Being in or around water or working on a roof, busy outside made him happy. He lived many years at Lake Seminole and raised his girls there. He was a hard worker. James loved fast cars and couldn't help but smile at the ladies. His children and grandchildren were his heart. James was, simply, a good man and will be deeply missed.

James Ray Banks is survived by his daughters, Margaret Pearce (Omar), Kristie Gonzalez (Eduardo), and Jessica Perkins (Jim); his siblings, Freddie Morris, Juanita Sharber, and Judy Cobb; 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
