James Braswell

Mr. James Richard Braswell, 70, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 at his residence near Donalsonville, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edwin Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA with Masonic Graveside Rites and with full military honors provided by the U. S. Navy. Mr. Braswell was born April 30, 1937 in Bainbridge, GA to the now late James Blake Braswell and Susie Beck Mosley Braswell. He was a retired Boats Mate with 30 years service in the U. S. Navy. He was a Past Worshipful Master of the Salem-Seminole Masonic Lodge, member of Bainbridge Shrine Club, Hasan Shrine Temple, and Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Herring Braswell of Donalsonville, GA; his son, James B. (Jimmy) Braswell of Naples, FL; his daughter, Jamie B. Hammer of Bainbridge, GA; his sister, Nancy B. Parsons of Bainbridge, GA; three grandsons, Danny Faircloth, James Faircloth, and Michael Faircloth; and several nieces and nephews.
