James Brunson

Mr. James Alan Brunson, age 65, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, in the Calvary Assembly of God Cemetery on Spring Creek Road. The Rev. Marty Brock will officiate.

James Alan Brunson was born May 29, 1959, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to James H. Brunson and Hazel Faircloth Brunson. James was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and lived a quiet life. James was a good person and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

James is survived by his children, Kathryn Gonzalez (Benjamin) and Alan Michael Brunson; his brother, Michael Brunson; grandchildren, Kaylee and Tyler Gonzalez and Andrew Brunson; niece, Rachel Marie Ryerson (John) and their children, Reese Jordan and Hazel Jean; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
