Mr. Edward Butler, 45, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007 at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Phillips and Rev. Lloyd Clark officiating. Edward was born December 9, 1961 in Decatur County, GA, the son of Cecil Butler and Carolyn Wright Butler. He had worked with Amoco Fabrics and Cooper Tire Company. He was a baptist. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Wright Butler of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Wayne Butler of Bainbridge, GA and Andy Butler of Bushnell, FL; two nieces, April D. Butler and Melanie Ann Butler; a nephew, Felix W. Butler; and a great-nephew, Felix W. Butler, Jr, and his life partner, Shawn Collins of Bainbridge, GA.
