James Bynum

Memorial services for Mr. James Lamar Bynum, age 72, of Brinson, GA, will be held Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Branch President Ryan Cleveland officiating. Mr. Bynum passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. He was born March 20, 1936 in Eufaula, AL the son of the late James Alvin and Lossie Mae Reddy Bynum. He was a carpenter, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, an Army Veteran (paratrooper) and loved to fish. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Cordelia Cantley Bynum of Brinson, GA; two daughters Melinda Reems and Ramona Matthews both of Henderson, NC ; four sisters Frances Alverez of Bainbridge, Janice Hayes, Mattie Ament and Eleanor Head all of Brinson and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
