James S. "Skipper" Harris, 64, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Interment will follow Christ Church Cemetery in Baker County, GA. Mr. Harris was born May 26, 1944 in Miller County, GA, the son of William Franklin Harris and Henrietta Wright Harris. He graduated from Bainbridge High School and was an attendant at Henry's Service Station. Survivors include three sisters, Louise Brooks of Little Switzerland, NC, Mittie Hancock of Pittsburg, TN, and Jimmie Lou Moore and her husband Gene of Sewanee, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
