Smitty was born February 18, 1956 in Bainbridge, Georgia the son of Ralph Lamar Smith and Evelyn Lavern Josey Smith. He was an enthusiast about Harley's and his involvement with Swamp Gravy. Survivors include his son, Robert Alton "Bob" Smith of Macon, GA; brother, David Smith of Mobile, AL; and nieces and nephews. Smitty was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Decatur County Humane Society.
