James Summers

James E. Summers, 85, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Cumbie officiating. Interment will follow at Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Summers was born July 28, 1922 in Dale County, AL the son of Robert L. Summers and Malinda Avant Summers. He was a carpenter and a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church #2. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Brinson Summers and a daughter, Frances Maddox.
