Janice Herndon

Janice Toliver Herndon, 78, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019. The graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Notchaway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating. Janice Wayne Toliver was born January 22, 1940 in Newton, GA, the daughter of Theodore and Pauline Wacaser Toliver. She married Robert E. Herndon and they made their home in southwest Georgia. Janice loved life. Whether she was fishing, gardening or simply enjoying the beauty of her flowers, she found a way to include the children and grandchildren that made life fun. She was a spitfire that always had a word for whatever was going on. Janice will be remembered as one who put others before herself and would give you her last nickel. Survivors include her children, Robert Rabon and his wife, Tammy, of Pavo, GA, Michael Rabon of Altha, FL, and Jimmie Rabon of Moultrie, GA; her siblings, Jack Toliver of  Donalsonville, GA, Tally Toliver of Palm Beach, FL, and Rita Toliver of Vero Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Jack, Candice, Dustin, Amber, Kately, Lucas, Avril, and Johnathan; and her great-grandchild, Rhet. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earnest Herndon; and her siblings, Laverne Bagley, Kaley Norris, David Toliver and Charlie Toliver.
