Jannie Giannars

Jeannie Lewis Giannars, age 67, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Bainbridge Health and Rehab in Bainbridge, Georgia. No services will be held at this time. Jeannie Darlene Lewis Giannars was born December 24, 1955, in Colquitt, Georgia, to Jake Eugene Lewis and Callie Sue Kelley Lewis. Jeannie married the love of her life, Pete Giannars, Jr. She and Pete shared life together for 52 years before his passing in 2022. Jeannie became a nurse and simply loved the work. She received a BSN in nursing and worked many years as a traveling nurse. Pete would join her as she traveled, and they had a wonderful time. Jeannie deeply loved her grandchildren. Nursing and her family were what brought happiness to Jeannie. She will be deeply missed by the family she loved so much and her many friends. Jeannie Giannars is survived by her son, Jason Giannars; her brother, Jake Lewis; grandchildren, Will Giannars (Carlye), Cecily Amerson (Dayton), Emily Gowan (Logan), Parker Hobbs, Katie Eakin, Morgan Giannars, Callie Sue Giannars, and Memphis Giannars; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Pete Giannars, III.
