In 1942 she married Julian Gerard Kwilecki, Jr., and they settled in Bainbridge after WWII. An avid reader, Mrs. Kwilecki was a member of the Bainbridge Book Club. She loved to play bridge and was the last living member of her bridge club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. For years, she was the secretary in her husband's architectural firm. She and her husband were exceptionally devoted to one another; they shared many interests and loved to travel. Later they spent many happy times at their place at Seagrove Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of fifty-eight years. She is survived by their three children: Julian Gerard Kwilecki, III (Penny) of Bainbridge, Margaret K. Howard (Gene) of Athens, GA and Catherine K. Herndon (Len) of Destin, FL. Grandchildren: Vivian Sapp (Chris) of Cairo, GA, J. Gerard Kwilecki, IV (Deanna) of Jackson, AL, Christopher Kwilecki (Lori) of Tampa, FL, Cate Davis (Trey) of Concord, NC, Anne Thompson (Jim) of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth Howard of Athens, GA, Caroline Busker (Jay) of Jacksonville, FL, and Hugh Herndon (Mary) of Destin, FL, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
