Dorothy Jean Shockley Wingard, age 97, passed away at her daughter's home in Bainbridge, Georgia, Thursday, July 23, 2026. Services for Ms. Wingard will be Saturday, August 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home, Bainbridge, GA. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31st, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Cadwell Chapel.
