Jeanette Gibson

Jeanette Gibson, 83, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Conrad Salter and Rev. Steve Poppell officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Chuch Cemetery with Eddie Cobb, Michael Cobb, Daryl Gibson, Bennie Tiner, Paul Tabb and Jeff Tiner serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Gibson was born April 28, 1925 in Miller County, GA, the daughter of Lewis Eurell Tiner and Goldie Crawford Tiner. She was a graduate of Miller County High School, a homemaker, and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Gibson and her son Gene Gibson. Survivors include her daughter Brenda G. Harrell and husband Bobby Jack of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter-in-law, Dianne Gibson of Climax, GA; her brother, Ben Tiner of Chesapeake, VA, three sisters, Vonnie Calhoun and Rejoyna Cobb both of Colquitt, GA and Mavis Hines of Lake Wales, FL; three grandchildren, Derek Gibson of Climax, GA, Ken Harrell of Climax, GA and Kevin Harrell of Vada, GA; and five great-grandchildren, Blake Harrell, Erin Gibson, Brandi Harrell, Chase Harrell and Kaitlyn Harrell.
