Jerrold Gossett

Jerrold Andrew Gossett, age 80 of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Tallahassee, Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee. Jerrold (Jerry) was born on November 1, 1941, in Dearborn, MI, to the late Earnest Raymond and Mary Frances (Edwards) Gossett.  He was a 1959 graduate of Bremen High School, a self-employed roofing contractor, and a United States Air Force veteran.  Jerry was a faithful servant of the Lord and a long-time member of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Bainbridge, GA, as well as Saint John's Episcopal Church of Tallahassee, FL. Jerry will be remembered for his kind and generous nature and his gentle spirit. He is survived by his son, Steven Gossett of Pikeville, GA; his siblings, Mary Earnestine Tucker of Greenville, KY; Chester Gossett of Henderson, KY; Donna Tooley of Bardstown, KY; Ricky Gossett (Brenda) of Bensenville, IL; Cheryl Owens of Chandler, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest & Mary Gossett; his son, Timothy Gossett; his brother, Tom Gossett; and his sister, Christa Vincent. A celebration of life service will be held at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Bainbridge, GA.  Time and date will be announced.
