Jerry E. Faircloth, 66, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Thaddeus Searles, S.T. and Rev. Tommy McNair officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery with Greg Bruce, Wayne Faircloth, Glen Matthews, Philip Barber, Gene O'Hearn, and Eric Knight serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Telephone Pioneers of America. The family will receive friends Monday, February 23, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary Service at 7:30. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War and was a retired installation and repair technician for Southern Bell. He graduated from Bainbridge College, was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include his wife, Marie B. Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; two sons, Jerry L. Faircloth and Jerry Allen Faircloth, both of Bainbridge, GA; four daughters, Lita Crumby and her husband William of Thomasville, GA, Tina Arthur and her husband Trent of Bainbridge, GA, Nicki Faircloth-Bruce and her husband Greg of Bainbridge, GA, and Brittany Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Larry Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; three sisters, Helen Davis of Panama City, FL, Barbara Johnson of Harlem, GA, and Delores Schnell of Richmond Hill, GA; and 7 grandchildren, Ashley Arthur, Adreanna Faircloth, Breanna Bruce, Rebecca Crumby, William Crumby, Joshua Bruce, and Jennifer Arthur.
