Jeritza "Jerry" Edwards Harmon, 88, of Macon, GA and formerly of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Box 155, Bainbridge, GA 39818.Jerry was born March 8, 1929 in Apalachicola, FL, the daughter of H. A. Edwards and Nell Eubanks Edwards. She graduated from Port St. Joe, FL High School, Class of 1947, and married Carroll Harmon in Bainbridge on Feb 10, 1951. Jerry and Carroll just recently celebrated 66 years of marriage. They lived in Bainbridge until their move to Macon, GA in 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge and the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, her family, and her many friends. Survivors include her husband, Carroll Harmon of Macon, GA; her son, Tom Harmon and his wife, Beth, of Macon, GA; her grandchildren, Bo Harmon and his wife, Sarah, of Atlanta, GA, Catherine Harmon of Macon, GA, and Sam Harmon of Atlanta, GA; her great-granddaughter, Catherine "Cate" Harmon of Atlanta, GA; and her sister, Joyce McNeil of Westville, FL. Jerry was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Harmon.
