The Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Salem Baptist Church, and interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Knight was born February 20, 1949 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Cuy and Missouria Taylor Knight. He was a preacher for over 40 years, an evangelist for 7 years, and was pastor of several churches. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Jackie Knight of Douglasville, GA; children, Crystal Knight and Jerry Knight both of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Sarah and Cecil Harrison of Thomasville, GA, Eldra and Wayne Cuthens of Seneca, SC, Carolyn and Bonnie Harrison of Bainbridge, GA, Latrell and Max Goggans of Milledgeville, GA; brothers, Cuy and Elaine Knight, Jr. of Jackson, GA, Durwood and Carol Knight of Cohutta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
