Jerry Wimberly, 63, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Bainbridge Health Care. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lem Joiner officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with William Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Roy Adams, Buddy Adams, Hunter Pickles, and John Wayne Cox serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Wimberly was born August 8, 1950 in Boston, GA, the son of William Henry Wimberly, Sr. and Vernie Ella Norris Wimberly. He was a Hydraulic repairman and member of Potter's House Church. Survivors include his siblings, Poshil Hand and her husband, Herman, of Bainbridge, GA, JR. Wimberly of Bainbridge, GA, Mary Ann Goodwin of Bainbridge, GA, and Patricia Gadd of Bainbridge, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
