Jessi King, 19, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Barron and Rev. Doug Chason officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Chris Bibby, Chad Dean, Wes Tillery, Tony Slaughter, Roy Mathews and David Braswell serving as active pallbearers. Jessi was born January 29, 1991 in Tallahassee, FL, the daughter of Steven Scott King and Anita Johnson King. She was a freshman at Bainbridge College and a therapy program volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Johnson and her paternal grandmother, Margaret King. Survivors include her parents, Scott and Anita Johnson King of Bainbridge, GA; her sister Erin King of Bainbridge, GA; her maternal grandmother, Mary Johnson of Leesburg, GA and paternal grandfather, Benny King of Bainbridge, GA.
