Obituary provided by Baldwin Funeral Home, Richland, Georgia. Jill Cannington Bennett, 45, died on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 20, 1969 in Thomasville, Georgia to W. Ed Cannington and the late Patricia (Patty) Cutchens Cannington. Jill is preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her husband, Kelly Bennett of Lumpkin, Georgia; her son, Cody (Hannah Cox) Bennett of Omaha, Georgia; her daughter, Carson (Cody Aeger) Bennett of Lumpkin, Georgia; her father, Ed Cannington, her brother, Trey Cannington of Lumpkin, Georgia; and one grandchild, Zoey Cox of Omaha, Georgia. Jill and her family moved to Lumpkin in 1978. She had worked at Stewart/Webster Rural Health Clinic in Richland, Georgia. Jill attended cosmetology school. She was a member of the Lumpkin Baptist Church. Jill had a great love for her family, friends and dogs. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at the Lumpkin Baptist Church in Lumpkin, Georgia. The Reverend Mark Williams will officiate the service.
