Mr. Jim Tom Justice, 62, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Miller County Nursing Home in Colquitt, GA. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jean Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m., prior to the funeral service at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Jim Tom, as he was best known, was born November 24, 1946 in Hilton, GA, the son of Bob Morette Justice and Nancy Jane Lewis Justice. A man of many trades, he was a good auto mechanic, developed the portable oxygen Easier to Breathe System and was a radio disc jockey in the 1960's, fondly known as JTJ, the Swinging DJ. He was a member Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bob Justice, his brother, Glenn Justice and three sisters, Melvinia Justice, Malvie Justice Williams and Lucy Justice Knight. Survivors include four sisters, Annelle Antis of Bainbridge, GA, Burma Jane Miller of Hutchinson, KS, Geraldine Hand and Mattie Lee Justice, both of Sylvester, GA; and a sister-in-law, Betty Justice of Bainbridge, GA.
