Jimmie Dodson Williams, 80, of Eldorendo, GA, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Eldorendo Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas P. Long officiating. Interment will be at Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born April 4, 1933 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Winston Edward Dodson and Lillie Mae Sellars. She was a homemaker and member of Eldorendo Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, J. P. Williams of Eldorendo, GA; her daughter, Patsy Williams Harkins of Eldorendo, GA; her daughter-in-law, Deborah Williams of Eldorendo, GA; her sister, Gail Mills Brown of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Ryan Harkins, Jana Harkins, and Lani Harkins Rineer; and her great grandchildren, Liam Harkins, Colin Harkins, Evelyn Harkins, and Brooks Rineer. She was preceded in death by her son, Winston Williams; her sisters, Charlotte Dodson Herring and Maxine Dodson Patterson; and her step-father, Byron Mills.
