Mr. Jimmy L. Bennett, age 73, passed away December 6, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. day, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Mike Allan officiating. Mr. Bennett was born November 8, 1934 in Quincy, FL to the now late Clifford Green Bennett and Alice Myrl Kelley Bennett. He graduated from Attapulgus High School in 1953 and was the retired Water and Sewer Director for the City of Bainbridge. He was a member of Attapulgus Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lila King Bennett of Attapulgus, GA; two sons, Rickie L. Bennett and wife Paula of Ludowici, GA and David E. Bennett and wife Danielle of Woodville, FL; two daughters, Vickie Whittaker and husband Randy of Brinson, GA, and Susan London and husband Riley of Attapulgus, GA; a brother, Wayne Bennett of Tallahassee, FL; a sister, Joan Cochran of Bartow, FL; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
