Jimmy Hammack

Jimmy B. Hammack, 77, of Whigham, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Jimmy Bruce Hammack was born November 21, 1942 in Edison, GA, the son of J.B. and Lilly Turner Hammack. He lived in Southeast Alabama and Southwest Georgia his entire life. Jimmy owned the tire shop in Dothan and while work kept him busy, he occasionally slipped away to do a little fishing. He enjoyed working in his yard and tending his flower beds. Jimmy's love for music was evident every time he sat down at the piano or strummed his guitar. Survivors include his brothers, Walter Hammack (Carolyn) of Whigham, GA and Robert Hammack of Dothan, AL; and his two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his siblings, Elizabeth Kirkland and Marvin Hammack.
