Jimmy Leroy Vickers, IV

Jimmy Leroy Vickers, IV, age 2 months, passed away very suddenly on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at his home in Cairo, Georgia. The family will have private services to honor this sweet little boy. He was a sweet, happy little boy who brought so much joy into the lives of everyone he met. He was the easiest baby, always loved and always surrounded by people who wanted to hold him close. It seemed like there was never a time when someone wasn’t holding him, loving on him, or smiling because of him. He was truly a blessing, and even though his time with us was far too short, he made an impact that will never be forgotten.

It’s hard to put into words how much he meant to everyone who knew him. He deserved a lifetime of love, and we wish more than anything that we could have given him that. We will forever cherish every moment we got to hold him, love him, and have him here with us.

Jimmy may have been here for only a short time, but he will always be a part of us. He will forever be our sweet boy, remembered for the happiness he brought, the love he received, and the smiles he put on so many faces. There will always be a place in our hearts that belongs only to him, and we would give anything for just one more chance to hold him in our arms.

You were loved more than you could ever know, sweet boy. We will miss you every day and love you forever.

Jimmy Leroy Vickers, IV is survived by his parents, Jimmy Leroy Vickers, III and Victoria Vickers of Cairo; grandparents, Jimmy Leroy Vickers, Jr. and Alicia Brooke Vickers of Cairo and Magan Vickers of Panama City Beach, Florida and Leon Ashley Godwin (Trisha) of Bainbridge; and Godparents, Colby and Emory Copeland of Cairo.
