Jo Odom

Ms. JoAnn Odom, age 74, of Brinson, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. She was born on March 4, 1937, in Seminole County to the late Reuben S. and Maude T. Glass. Her husband, Leggett Odom, preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by a brother, Don Glass; three daughters, Billie Ann Thursby of Brinson, Sandra Engle of Charleston, South Carolina, Tjuana Williams of Donalsonville, Georgia; two sons, Bill Williams of Bainbridge, and Ricky Williams of Donalsonville; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Dorothy Porter; brother, Frank Glass. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Garrett Inlow will be officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, Georgia. Rocky Wynn, Andre Wynn, Derek Engle, Josh Clark, Hayden Wynn and Chase Buckhaulter will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
