Mrs. Joan Ingram "Jody" Rowan, age 72, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007 at Heritage Health Care Center in Tallahassee, FL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge, GA with Rev. Russell Hardesty officiating. Interment will follow at Red Hills Cemetery near Iron City, GA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. She graduated from Seminole County High School and was formerly of Bainbridge, GA. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Key Largo, FL and loved fishing, canning, and gardening. She was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Rowan and David Rowan, and two daughters, Kay R. Martin, and Judy Rowan. Survivors include her son, Bill Rowan of Bainbridge, GA; six grandchildren, Donna Tomlin and husband Harold, Jayme Bullock and husband Seth, Pam Floyd, Alecia Martin, Buddy Rowan, and Eddie Rowan; and three great-grandchildren, Brian Martin, Malik Tomlin, and Sadie King.
