John Ted Brooks, 50, of Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly of Bainbridge, GA), passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Myrtle Beach. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. C. Mr. Brooks was born March 4, 1958 in Gadsden County, FL, the son of James Frank Brooks and Rebecca Mae Duncan Brooks. He retired from Food Lion as a manager. Survivors include his parents, Rebecca and Ray Haire of Bainbridge, GA; his brother, Frank Brooks of Redlands, CA; and two sisters, Donna Trammell of Bainbridge, GA and Kathy Edwards of Tallahassee, FL.
