John Casagrande

Mr. John Casagrande, 86, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at St. John's Episcopal Church with Father James H. Clendinen officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery. Mr. Casagrande was born November 1, 1920 in Lansing, OH, to the late Stephen Casagrande and Catherine Donati Casagrande. He was a Captain in the U. S. Army Air Corps and flew C-47's and gliders during World War II. He was a retired office manager for Cato's Nursery, and member of V. F. W. Post 4904, and St. John's Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Willa Stegall Casagrande of Bainbridge, GA; two sons, Randy Casagrande and wife Lynn of Leesburg, GA, and David Casagrande of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Carl Casagrande of Cleveland, OH and Frank Casagrande of Hazleton, PA; and a grandson, Dustin Casagrande of Leesburg, GA.
