John Elkins

John Elkins, 60, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Poppell officiating.  Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. John was born January 25, 1961 in Tallassee, AL, the son of Matilda Elkins.  He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of his time hunting, fishing, and looking for arrowheads. Survivors include his wife, Janice Elkins of Bainbridge, GA; his children, Michael Elkins (Nicole) of Macon, GA, Johnny Elkins (Kait) of Newport News, VA, Caden Elkins (Hope Sizemore) of Bainbridge, GA, and Ally Elkins of Bainbridge, GA;  his siblings, Marsha Mitchell (Harold), Rhonda Kelley (Greg), and Michelle DeWeese (Randy), all of Hot Springs, AR, Regina Runyon of Conway, AR, and Gary Hepburn of Thomasville, GA; and a granddaughter, Mary Elkins of Macon, GA.
