John David Gunsallus, 59, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home in New Smyrna Beach, FL.The graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Oak City Cemetery with Rev. He graduated from Darton College and received his Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree from Erlanger Medical Center. He was an anesthetist for the hospital in Cheraw, SC. Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Ann Durham Gunsallus of Bainbridge, GA; his daughters, Megan Gunsallus Jandy and her husband, Marc, of Longwood, FL and Lindsey Gunsallus of Los Angeles, CA; his sister, Susan Gunsallus Davis and her husband, Dr. W. Gerald Davis, of Hendersonville, TN; his nieces, Grace Davis Mercer and her husband, Stephen, of Smyrna, GA and Rose Davis Garner, and her husband, Thomas, of Vestavia Hills, AL; and his nephew, William Tyler Davis of Hendersonville, TN.
