John Hinson

Mr. John G. Hinson, age 34, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Michael Hall, David Butler, Roy Matthews, Chris Bryant, Cory Walker, Alex Walker, Ralph Jones, Michael Waddell, and Tommie Howell serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Decatur County School System and the Home Improvement Sunday School Class of Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1991 and from Valdosta State University in 1995. He was the principal of Bainbridge High School Westside and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Shelly Walker Hinson of Bainbridge, GA; two sons, Cole Hinson and Jack Hinson of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Marlee Hinson of Bainbridge, GA; mother and stepfather, Betty and Oscar Jackson of Bainbridge, GA; 4 brothers, Ronald E. Hinson, II of Adairsville, GA, H. Marlowe Hinson of Manchester, GA, Oscar D. Jackson, Jr. of Thomasville, GA, and Alan Jackson of Thomasville, GA; and a sister, Amy J. Price of Tallahassee, FL.
