Ken Hobbs

Mr. John Kenneth (Ken) Hobbs, age 72, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Cummings, Georgia. Services for Mr. Hobbs will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm, graveside, in Attapulgus Cemetery, Attapulgus, Georgia. The Rev. DeWitt Phillips will officiate.

Ken Hobbs was born August 2, 1953 in Bainbridge, Georgia to John H. Hobbs and Willie Mae Petis Hobbs. He and his siblings grew up in Attapulgus, Georgia. Ken honorably served in the Army National Guard and was a long-haul truck driver. He married Laura McPherson Hobbs, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Gary Hobbs (Sarah) of Donalsonville, Georgia and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters.
