John Gordon Roberts, Jr., 58, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. Mr. Roberts was born January 15, 1956 in Donalsonville, GA, the son of John Gordon Roberts and Geraldine Jackson Roberts. John was a farmer all his life and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his children, Bridget Cruz-Bianchi and her husband, Nelson, of Columbus, GA, Brandon Roberts and his girlfriend, Nina, of Iron City, GA, and Hannah Jackson and her fiancé, Cory, of Bainbridge, GA; his father, J. G. Roberts; his siblings, Thomas Roberts and his wife, Ruby, of Vada, GA, Randy Roberts and his wife, Cheryl, of Bainbridge, GA, and Patsy Ann Floyd and her husband, William Eddie, of Miami, FL; and his grandchildren, Kerstyn Roberts, Chandler Roberts, and Drew Rogers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Jackson Roberts; and his siblings, Billy Earl Roberts, Bennie Ray Roberts, Buddy Roberts, and Joann Yates.
