John White

John T. White, 74, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Tallahassee National Cemetery with Rev. Ron Kirkland officiating.  Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Florida guidelines. John was born August 6, 1947 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Eugene White and Irene Beatrice Murkerson White.  He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1965 and was a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force.  Shepherd's Chapel was his everyday church. Survivors include his wife, Gayle White of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Bambi Flanner (Brad) of Ft. Myers, FL, Charlie Harper (Sue) of Wrensville, MT, and James White of Donalsonville, GA; his sisters, Maxie White Weaver Bailey (Jimmy) and Maxine White Green Dooling (Jerry), both of Bainbridge, GA; his grandchildren, Brookie, Jona, Brandy, Brittany, Brian, and Amanda; and 4 great-grandchildren.  John was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David White; a grandson, Dane; and his siblings, Ralph White, Vera Mae McCullers, Virginia Kirkland, and Dorothy Dollar.
