John Williamson

Williamson, John Larry passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Glenda Williamson (nee Cawthon) for 59 years; dear father of Greg (Marcie) Williamson and Jill Lawson; dear grandfather of Brooke (Pat) Breedlove, Blair Williamson, Drew Williamson, Chase Lawson, and Heather Lawson; dearest great grandfather of Kimber and Piper Breedlove and Savannah Lawson; dear brother of James (Lajean) Williamson, Jack Williamson, the late Fred (Bernie) Williamson, and the late Fredda (JD) Salter; loving brother-in-law of Carla Cawthon; dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many. John was retired from McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing (multiple times) and also worked for Rodgers Organ Company. He enjoyed being a handyman, volunteering at Barnes St. Peters Hospital, spending time with his family, and serving his church. John honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1953-1962. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services: Funeral service  10:30 am, Friday, January 5, 2018 at HUTCHENS-STYGAR Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. (St. Charles). Interment National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
