Johnnie Lee Harrell, 85, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Phillips and Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Wallace Cato, Larry Nix, David Casagrande, Gene Powell, Stoney Lindsey, Mitch Parker, Brantley Harrell, III and Jackson Harrell serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Harrell was born March 9, 1923 in Miller County, GA, the daughter of John Walker Stegall and Rosa Mae Nalls Stegall. She worked as a seamstress at Dickies and Jack Winter for many years along with being a lifelong homemaker. An avid gardener and fisherman, she spent many hours working in her gardens and fishing on the Flint. She was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she served and supported various ministries. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Brantley Harrell, Sr. and Charlie R. Faircloth, her son, Jerry Harrell, her brother Albert Stegall, and three sisters, Edna Cato, Louise Powell and Ruby Hickey. Survivors include three sons, Lenwood Harrell and his wife Susan of Tallahassee, FL, Brantley Harrell, Jr and his wife Jackie of Bainbridge, GA and Erwin Harrell and his wife Kelley of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Judy and her husband Bill Davis of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Nell Bean and Willa Casagrande both of Bainbridge, GA; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
