Jose Granados

Jose Guadalupe Granados, 23, of Camp Lejeune, NC (formerly of Bainbridge, GA), passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Greenville, NC. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Rudy Breunig, S.T. officiating. Interment will full military honors will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Jose was born September 12, 1986 in Escondido, CA. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 2005, and was a Lance Corporal in the U. S. Marines and had just completed a tour of duty in Iraq. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife, Ashley Granados of Climax, GA; his parents, Agustin and Maria Soledad Granados of Bainbridge, GA; four brothers, Jose E. Granados of Bainbridge, GA, Jose Ceasar Granados of Escondido, CA, Miguel Angel Acosta Granados of Bainbridge, GA, and Mauricio Granados of Bainbridge, GA; four sisters, Angelica Granados of Bainbridge, GA, Beatrice Granados of Bainbridge, GA, Maria Granados of Atlanta, GA, and Mayra Granados Santiago of Jacksonville, NC; his paternal grandfather, Urbano Granados of Mexico; his paternal grandmother, Regina Perez of Mexico; his maternal grandfather, Pedro Alcantar of Mexico; and his maternal grandmother, Clara Amesquita of Mexico.
