Mr. Joseph (Jody) Lynn Logue, age 65, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, in Miller County Hospital. Services for Mr. Logue will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax, Georgia. Billy Lane, Charles Glass, Ty Varnum, Shay Logue, Kaleb Varnum, and Ryles Burch will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Joseph Lynn Logue was born November 15, 1952, in Apalachicola, Florida, to Lynn Dudley Logue and Thelma Laverne Nix Logue. Jody loved the ocean and lived in the East Point, Florida area for much of his life. He loved to fish and worked as an oysterman for many years. In Bainbridge, Jody managed the Save Oil Station. He enjoyed the work and made many friends. A few years ago, he had a massive stroke and moved to the Colquitt Nursing Home. Jody would gather his fellow residents for church services. He shared the Gospel with anyone who would listen. Jody touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Mr. Logue is survived by his sons, Michael Logue of Carrabelle, Florida, Jason Logue and wife, Rachael of Blakely, Georgia, and Matthew Logue, living in New Jersey; his twin sister, Janie Glass and husband, Charles of Bainbridge; sisters, Sandra Moore and Carolyn Lane of Bainbridge; brothers, Marvin Willis and wife, Kay of Cairo, Georgia and Johnny Willis and wife, Amy of Tallahassee, Florida; and grandchildren, Shay Logue, Corey Logue, and Tori Logue. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mary Ann Boyd and Nancy Nutting.
