Joseph Roland

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Edward Roland, age 51 of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Monday, February 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt with Ken Barber, Billy Roland, Larry Roland, Mike Lorenz, Arnold Whittaker, Michael Joiner serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Roland was born February 14, 1958 in Belle Glade, FL the son of J.E. Roland and the late Vevelon Long Roland. He has been in Bainbridge for six years moving from Cairo. He was a member of New Salem Freewill Baptist Church in Colquitt, a mechanic for Amoco Fabrics and liked gardening. He is survived by his father J. E. Roland and friend Adene Pope of Bainbridge, GA; one son Josh Roland of Cairo, GA; one brother Kenny Roland and wife Robin of Colquitt, GA and one sister Melanie Owens and husband Gerald of Morristown, TN; five nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother.
